With music and lyrics written and composed by Melissa Poon & Jerry Hoh, Lean On You was especially conceived to raise awareness for cancer research. Lead vocals by Julie Wee, Nat Ho & Jerry, the end-chorus a combined effort of 30 friends whose belief and emotional commitment to the cause is moving and unwavering. Other friends also gave videos of support (some are humourous skits, some are message-driven.) Lean On You is fighting for a cause that everyone believes is dear to the heart.

This project was born from a feeling of helplessness at watching the sickness consume the ones we love. Without exception, every one of us has a family member or friend who has been affected by the disease. Indeed if medical research is correct in predicting that one in three will likely be stricken by the sickness, it is time we sit up in alarm. It was from this premise that Lean On You was born.

We hope our sincerity and dedication to this cause will touch you. Join us in bringing awareness for continued cancer research. During the year-end festivities and in the spirit of giving, let’s bring a sparkle back to those who are short on hope.
