Asiatainment Pte Ltd is Edmund Chen’s movie production, events and public-relations company. He is respectively the Executive Producer and Co-Producer of Mission Easy’s pilot project, "LOVE" and the local movie "Red Number.”In addition, he has also directed American movie “Amoeba” and advertisements for Hiton Hotel and Hyatt Hotel. Edmund has endorsed several high profile brands including Beijing 101, Mitsubishi Electric, G Spa as well as others.
He has to his credit 90 television appearances (English and Chinese), 10 international movies, 4 solo albums, 4 stage plays, 5 publications and multiple special events such as promoting and presenting during the Centennial Olympics and organizing the X- files acting seminar.
He is also talented in design where he was awarded for his packaging design four consecutive years by Singapore Star Packaging Awards from 2002 – 2005.
Over the 25 years that Edmund Chen has been in the entertainment industry, he has not only excelled as an actor on both stage and onscreen, but also as a multi-talented over-achiever who showed that he is equally versed in being a host, a singer, a director, a producer, a designer.
Now Edmund adds yet another feather to his cap – that of a social- preneur.
Edmund strongly believes in cultivating a greater sense of sharing, helping one another and doing good deeds to the benefit of the society at large. Most often than not, he observes that people generally are reserved and not forthcoming in sharing or helping people, creating a void in basic human connect with one another, sometimes even among friends.
He therefore takes it upon himself to advance and promote these social goals through many of the initiatives that he now kick-starts or endorses.
One of such initiatives is his brainchild Mission Easy, a film workshop which brings together aspiring actors, directors and writers, then tasks them with creating their own 10-minute short films. The fruits of such efforts will be broadcast via Edmund’s own webTV channel, ECTV.
With this, Edmund envisions it eventually becoming a one-stop, free- for-all platform that showcases the myriad variety of talents – both local and overseas – available in the media industry today. It will be a platform where knowledge and experience of the veterans will be valued and passed on; where young rising talents and fresh entrants to the industry can be noticed; where players in the industry can exchange resources and contacts to leverage upon and propel towards the international markets such as Hollywood.
Edmund’s endorsement and ambassadorship with select organisations such as the Red Cross Society , National Environmental Agency and Singapore Post, reflects his unwavering belief and goal to spread the message of doing social good, helping people and sharing as far and wide as possible.
However, what Edmund considers his greatest achievement in life is his family. He is married to Xiang Yun, one of Singapore’s most renowned actresses, with whom he is raising one boy and one girl.

陈之财在娱乐圈有25年之久。他多才多艺，不仅在舞台 上或萤幕上表现优越，也是出色的歌手、导演、制片人、 设计师。
现在他又为自己添加了多一个角色 - 社会企业家。
陈之财深信人们需要培养那份要为大众服务的真心和与人 分享的热忱。他发现现代人多数时候都会有所保留，不会 主动与人分享交换心得，照成人与人之间，甚至朋友之间 的隔阂。
ECTV开办的首个项目是命名为“Mission Easy”的免费电影 工作坊。这是一个让拥有演艺、导演以及编剧热忱的人们来 学习的免费电影工作坊。
在课程总结后，他们每个人将会被 给予拍摄一部十分钟短片的机会。这些短片将会在陈之财的 网络电视频道，ECTV上，免费播放。
陈之财希望它最终能够成为让资深的媒体工作者传递经验与 交流的一站式平台。行家也可以利用平台互相交流和接触， 以充分利用资源，互相推动和实现打进国际市场的梦想。
陈之财选择担任红十字会的代言人、国家环境局组织大使及 邮政局大使，表现了他希望服务大众与帮助社会的信念和目 标。
